March - directionless painting

With no theme March has kind of been directionless.

As evident from the photos below I have mostly been working on Necromunda Terrain; in some cases (Like the gunk tank and gang stronghold corner tower) I went for dark simple colours then washed with browns and blacks, drybrushed with metals and washed with rusts. 

For the walk way struts I went simple in terms of black overall which I drybrushed with greys, and pipes were most brass (some I painted metal) washed with brown & black.

Contrasting the black struts I undercoated the walkways white, then washed with the contrast white, then added some rust spots.

The central walkway I did a bit more work on painting the pipes in the floor, otherwise I did the same as the walkway.

In addition to the terrain I painted these "Mutated Mastiffs" that came with a Mantic Games Abyssal Dwarf sprue I have (as part of a "free gift" with a wargames magazine a while ago).

These will be used as Phyrr cat for my Escher (Yep I'm aware they're dogs not cats, but at the moment I don't have any cat models)

Again a simple paint job of browns and reds.
